Sound quality is just perfect. Somebody who wants a type c earphone without unnecessary bass, u can go for it. It's my second earphone from Sennheiser. They look good, sounds great.
If you want a balanced sound with clear vocals, go for it.
The CX 80U sound fine. To get the best out of it, 24/96 option is explicitly needed to be set in the audio player. It can play upto 32-bit float bit depth of audio. In my opinion 32/192 is the ultimate resolution for audio, 32 bit integer not float. Current one is good enough for pristine audio. 9.7 mm transducer work very well. Bass beat precisely without being boomy. Sub bass, mids & treble sound articulated. Vocals and instrument separation are great for the price. Out of the box earphones do not sound at their best. Burn-in/loosening of components is needed. Apart from that appropriate hardware and software is also needed. I use it with a smartphone that has hardware considered to be of flagship grade, once. Build quality of the earphones are good. Some microphonics are detected. Call quality is not upto the mark. I use it mainly for listening to music. Steel mesh filter is an extremely essential improvement upon the cushion based ones. It has a significant impact upon audio clarity. The earphones seem to have been made quite thoughtfully. Though a hi-res product they are not labelled so, strangely. Package quality has degraded. Nothing like the one I had received on my order some seven years back. They were more costly. Ironically, the CX 80U sound better. Sennheiser earphones/headphones require a DAC to sound best. Since this is a type C variety one, DAC is integrated in it. Should I recommend? Well, that is always upto the buyer. The company is renowned for products that sound neutral. I went for it and pleasantly was not disappointed this time.
Very nice earphones
Works quite well with my iPad, the sound quality too is really good but sound quality isn't good with my one plus device....like the whole sound seems monotonous with my one plus device
Balanced headphones. Great for everyday use.
The quality is good, but it is very sensitive and needs to be handled carefully.
Neu"The sound signature is neutral and well-balanced, with excellent detail retrieval and clarity. It offers an accurate and natural presentation that will appeal to listeners who value precision over heavy bass. Bass enthusiasts may find the low-end response lacking in impact and quantity. Overall, it delivers outstanding sound quality for the price and represents excellent value for money."tral . Detailed and Good Clarity. Bassheads will not enjoy. Good Value.
I always love Sennheiser for music since 2012. I have used all types of headphones from Sennheiser and this one of best product by them. Great for music and talking.
